You bought your template, but how do you get it to your Google Account? To use an Oncuff template, you MUST have a Google Account (Gmail).
In this tutorial, we will cover:
what Google Accounts are,
how to copy the template to your account, and
how to generally access your website in Google's ecosystem.
What is a Google Account?
A Google Account is a Google-wide username and password that can be used to access various products by Google (ex. Gmail, Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sites, etc.). Basically, your Google Account is the umbrella that holds all of Google's services inside.
Usually your username is your email address with Google such as:
yourusernamehere@gmail.com
What is Google Drive?
Google Drive (also known as Drive) is a cloud storage service that comes with every Google Account. You receive 15 gigabytes (GB) free with each Google Account and you can buy more file storage if need be on a subscription basis. Your Google Site will be a tiny fraction of your drive space. If you aren't already signed into your drive, it will prompt you to sign into your Google Account.
You can visit your Google Drive at this address:

What is Google Sites?
Google Sites is a no-code free website builder that comes with every Google Account. You can access your Google Sites home here:
Your website is a file stored in your Google Drive similar to any file you would make in Google Suite. Thus, your website is "hosted" by Google Drive. However, Google Sites files can't be downloaded to your computer like a Doc or Slide.
Why use Google Sites?
Google Sites is our choice for artists because it's low cost, easy to use, and has non-intrusive branding. In their free versions, Weebly, Wix and other services place large watermarks on your site. Google Sites are only identified by the "i" mark in the bottom left corner. Otherwise, they appear like any other website.
While there is more manual work in setting up a website, Oncuff has drastically reduced that workload for you in creating these templates. In the long run, you will save hundreds of dollars by only paying your yearly domain name fee as opposed to a subscription fee for a domain, web builder, and hosting. And, these tutorials make your website setup an easy, stress free breeze.
Browse our templates and find something that fits your needs. Once you pay for a template, a link to access your template will be sent to your email. You MUST have a Google Account.
